JAR-FCL PPL (A) & (H) Navigation

SWS can provide a one or two day course, depending on previous study.

Navigation is a one or two day course (depending on any previous study), culminating with the JAR exam at the end if you so wish.

The Navigation written exam paper consists of 25 multi choice questions, which have to be answered within 1 Hour 30 minutes requiring a pass mark of 75%. This paper has questions covering aspects such as:-

• Chart properties
• Using the CRP computer to solve wind vectors & ground speed problems
• Time / distance calculations
• Loading / fuel conversions
• Altimeter settings
• Use of radio aids for Navigation ... etc
